What are differennt Modeling Modes in nanoCAD 3D?
nanoCAD 3D has 4 Modeling Modes.
- Parametric
- Direct
- Sheet
- Meshes
Parametric Modeling: In the Parametric Modeling mode you can draw 3D using Parametric 3D Modeling Tools
These tools will activate the 3D History.
Being a parametric model, if you want to get back to the steps and modify your 3D model, you can double click on the desired step at the 3D History tree and edit the parameter of that step.
Direct Modeling: In Direct Modeling mode you will have the Direct Modeling tools for 3D drawing and editing.
For Direct Modeling 3D History will not be activated.
Sheet Modeling: This modeling mode will be activated for the combination of nanoCAD Platform + 3D + Mechanica module. This will activate the Sheet Modeling tools.
You can draw and edit Sheet Metals using this tool
The Sheet Metal tools are also Parametric and you can use 3D History tree for editing 3D Sheet Metal models.
Meshes Modeling: This mode contains 3D Mesh drawing and editing tools.
3D History is not activated in this mode.
